Details – Home shirt as worn during Saint Etienne’s most successful period in their history when Saint Etienne finished as champions of French Division 1 for a third successive season and also made it to the final of the European Cup, losing 1-0 against Bayern Munich with Franz Roth scoring the only goal of the game. Known as the Maillot AS Saint-Etienne Manufrance in reference to the sponsor logo, the shirt was furnished by current and 1970s ASSE technical partner Le Coq Sportif.
